A Day Without Mines, documentary short, filmed in the diamond district of Sierra Leone, West Africa won Best Short Documentary at the Beverly Hills Film, TV & New Media Festival and was showcased on PBS.
In 2013, the United Brothers and Sisters of Sierra Leone honored Adisa, the Founder and President of Adisa Baba Sports and Arts Academy with the Humanitarian Leadership Award.

In 2022, the drama club developed a play to address the epidemic of skin bleaching in their community. The play culminated into the award winning documentary film “ifine” which had its World Premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2023.
